Open Score with Ana Irene Rodrigues

Event with MultiMadeira Residency at Bar Barreirinha, Funchal.

Since 2010 Ana Irene Rodrigues (saxophone performer) and Sara Anjo (dancer and choreographer) work with improvisation as an encounter between their artistic languages. They found in scores the main theme for their dialogue. Being both natives of this island and sharing an enormous admiration for the madeira embroidery, they have developed their work around embroidered scores. For the event next friday, the score, will be focused on the first phase of the madeira embroidery process - the drawing.
